Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP, with roots in linguistics and psychology, began by modeling excellent performers in many arenas.  Over the years, these models led to strategies and tools that allowed people to more fully experience, calibrate, and gain choices over their own reactions and abilities by becoming more aware of what they were sensing and the language they were using.  NLP helps people become aware of their cognition, what they are sensing and their connections to what is around them.  Once aware, people could build better relationships and become more effective.   Today, many of the observations of the early NLP modelers are being born out as neuroscientists test our brains and our nervous systems and how they interact in different circumstances.
